1. Platform Usage

The TopChef Directory is an online platform that connects chefs with venues. By registering and using this platform, you agree to conduct all professional engagements exclusively through our system.

You may not arrange, negotiate, or conduct bookings outside of the TopChef Directory platform. This includes direct contact, alternative payment methods, or private arrangements.

2. Mandatory Platform Transactions

All bookings, communications, payments, and contractual agreements related to chef-to-venue engagements must occur through the TopChef Directory system.

• All booking requests and confirmations must use the platform
• All communications between chefs and venues must occur via the in-platform messaging system
• No payments or financial arrangements outside the platform are permitted
• All contracts and agreements are documented within the system

3. Enforcement & Account Suspension

Violation of these terms will result in immediate and permanent suspension of both accounts.

We actively monitor for off-platform arrangements. Evidence of circumventing the platform includes, but is not limited to:

• Direct contact exchanges (phone, email, social media)
• Payments or invoices sent outside the platform
• Bookings arranged through third parties
• Customer reports of off-platform conduct

No exceptions, refunds, or appeals will be considered once an account is suspended for off-platform activity.

4. Chefs: Your Responsibilities

• Only accept bookings through the platform
• Communicate exclusively via the messaging system
• Do not share personal contact details (phone, email, social media) with venues
• Report any venues attempting to arrange off-platform bookings
• Understand that direct arrangements void all platform protections

5. Venues: Your Responsibilities

• Only book chefs through the platform
• Communicate exclusively via the messaging system
• Do not request personal contact details from chefs
• Do not attempt to arrange alternative payment methods
• Report any chefs attempting to circumvent the system

6. Data & Compliance

By using the TopChef Directory, you consent to:

• Sharing necessary information for bookings and compliance (Right to Work, tax details)
• Platform monitoring for compliance with these terms
• Communication from the TopChef team regarding your account

7. Liability

The TopChef Directory is not liable for any disputes, injuries, or damages arising from off-platform arrangements. All liability protection, insurance, and dispute resolution services are exclusively available to transactions conducted through the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
